Spyware Removals can bring fear in just the thought of having the word Spyware associated with your PC. So, first lets not panic and second find a good Spyware Removal Tool if there is not one already inside your Computer. There are many programs out there designed to help protect you and your PC, one such Program is Spyware Doctor which the name itself tells you it will fix your PC the same as if you had Spyware in you and went to your doctor to get a Prescription. The main and biggest difference is where you might have to wait for the Medicine to work, however these tools work within minutes of starting their programs.

Pro’s

The biggest Pro to Spyware Removal is that you can find one that works for you, and continues to work without your having to tell it too. Another Pro is something mentioned already and that is that the Spyware is Removed within minutes. There ratio between Spyware and Removal tools are astounding but the best part is that the geniuses who created these wonderful tools are constantly keeping an eye out and upgrading and adding to their programs all the time.

Cons

I am afraid to say that there are cons to this useful and I am sorry to say necessary part of your Computer Life, the bag guys, the ones who get kicks out of creating things like Spyware are working as hard as the good guys to keep a step ahead. Though unlike the Good Guys the Spyware Junkies are becoming more and more tenacious. Another Con is finding the right Spyware Removal Tool for you, there are many out that promise to do the job however they prey on normal people just like the Spyware attacks your PC.

User Ability

Well User Ability is a wide term and even wider subject when it comes to something like Spyware Removal. There are more discussions about what you can do and what you can use then there is Tools out there. The first and most controversial is “Does it Work?” well it depends on which one you choose and what it does. There are many available that does a numerous amount things to protect your PC all in one Program, and whether or not if they work? Well read articles and reviews about the Spyware Removal Tools you are looking into, see where they are rated and by whom. AS far as the Programs themselves, many just have a run feature, be it start, a play button, or automatically on their own. Making their ease of use top notch.

Safety and Security

When it comes to Safety the Removal Tools you use can be just as bad as the Spyware itself. Some promise to fix the problem and end causing more, while others just cannot do the job. The Security Side is easier to deal with, only a few of these ask for your email address and name when you go to download and none require more than the basic information when you install them, and a very few removes every key stroke to keep hackers from finding out your information.

Summary and Rating

After going over the options, the Pros and Cons, and just how easy these tools are to use, the words Spyware Removal is not so scary now, and being informed is always the best defense and offense you could ever ask for or need.

Rating can vary from one Product to another however after considering all the options out there against not doing anything at all, I give Spyware Removal Tools a large and heart stopping 10.

Computer Mods for all Levels, Newbie to Advanced . . .

Computer Mods for all Levels, Newbie to Advanced . . .

Case mods and computer mods are the most popular trends in computers today. Futuristic design in computer cases is coming more to the forefront every year yet there is a need for some modders to go beyond the market norm and create there own custom computer mods. Thats why Setting your case apart from the growing pack of mod computer cases is becoming harder and harder these days. Lets quickly look at the process of case modding from the ground up and what mods you may find interesting.

To start off, it’s best to have a case that you’re already happy with structurally. If you undertake a modding project it will surely become a labor of love. Having a solid computer case to build on will assure that you aren’t dissatisfied with the basic construction of the case later. Also put some thought into what size of computer case as well, some computer mods are small and can be done on mini or mid sized cases, other mods such as adding a internal liquid cooling system takes alot of room. As I have said in other articles I would choose a case from a company such as Thermaltake, Antec, Lian Li or Raidmax all have proven track records as good solid computer cases worth modding.

Ok so now you have a case you are happy with, its time to look at some simple mods. The most common are:

Window Kits — These are for when you want to show off what’s inside the case. Window kits are the perfect complement to a Cold cathodes as the whole side of the box will put out a bright glow, illuminating the hardware within.

Cold cathodes — cold cathode kits produce an intense amount of light without adding alot of heat, used with the above mentioned Window Kit people can see all your hard work.

HD Cooling and VGA and Chipset Cooling Kits — These Cooling Kit Mods lets you take full advantage of increased performance and system stability without spending a huge amount of cash.

Fan Guards, LED Fans, 3D Fan Grills — These are all quick and inexpensive ways to add some color to an otherwise drab case.

Round cables and Drive Straps — An excellent mod that can sufficiently increase airflow inside the tower which in turn keeps hardware such as Hard drives and Video Cards cooler increasing system stability.

For the Extreme Modder — Liquid cooling computer cases is a noiseless way of keeping that CPU and GPU cool and tells everyone you’re on the leading edge of case modding. This mod is recommended only for those with modding experience.

There are some basic mods and some more advanced, my advice start off small and work your way up. Good Luck!

Streaming Video Over The Network

February 15th, 2007

We all have been downloading and playing back high quality audio and video files from the Internet. Though this process is very easy and you can store the data file for later use, it can be exasperating experience at times because the time taken to download a file can be unusually long. Nowadays, streaming video over the network is gaining popularity as an alternate to downloading. Be it an informational, educational or entertainment program, streaming video is becoming a popular mode of transmitting the data.

As broadband connectivity has grown, websites have increased their use of video clips. The term Streaming video refers to the method of one-way transmission of a video in the compressed format through the Internet. Its advantage is that the video is transmitted as a continuous stream, enabling the viewer to play it within a few seconds of requesting it. The data is not saved permanently on the computer and hence does not utilize the precious hard disk space. The viewer would require a player that can uncompress the data and play it through the monitor and the speakers.

Some of the well-known players available in the market are MacroMedia’s Streaming Shockwave, Progressive Network’s RealVideo, Xing Technology’s StreamWorks, VDONet’s VDOLive, Vosaic, Vxtreme, Vivoactive and Microsoft’s NetShow. Streaming video is normally sent from prerecorded video files. However, it can also be distributed as part of a live broadcast “feed.”

In the case of a live broadcast, the video signal is converted into a compressed digital signal and transmitted from a server that has a capability of multicasting i.e. sending the same file to multiple users at the same time. If the streaming video is broadcast live, then it is termed as “real-time video.” However, there is a built-in delay in streaming video due to buffering of the feed.

With the advancement in technology, it is nowadays possible to capture streaming video and store it in the hard disk. One can save live streaming video, streaming news video, streaming movies, streaming music videos etc with the help of a software Stream Recorder. Use of streaming video for videoconferencing is the latest application that is gaining ground. Videoconferencing is more challenging on the network than streaming video. This is because it requires real-time, two-way transmission with enough bandwidth for video coming in and going out at the same time without buffering.

The biggest hurdle that still needs to be overcome is to provide broadband access to all the users. Many users still do not have enough bandwidth to receive streaming video in an acceptable quality
