There are many different kinds of mini digital cameras available. The world’s smallest digital camera, which has been around for a number of years now, is the Smart mini digital camera. It’s ultra-compact, multifunctional, and smaller than a credit card. But this mini digital camera takes jaw-dropping digital photos and can even double as a webcam because of its built-in personal computer camera functions.

The Smart mini digital camera comes loaded with 16MB of built-in ROM, allowing you to store up to 20 pictures. Downloading the photos to your computer is easy, simply connect it to your pc with the USB cables that come with it nd use the included software package. The software also has editing capability, allowing you to crop pictures and make any desired color adjustments.

In additon, it’s 352×288 pixel screen allows you to use it as a webcam to communicate with friends. This mini digital camera is so compact; it will even fit on your key ring. And it comes complete with its own key ring attachment and leather pouch. It also has compatibility with Microsoft operating systems from Windows 98 forwards.

The mini digital camera includes an LCD display, letting you know just how many pictures you have taken in the still photo mode, or telling you the amount of ROM available in continuous mode. The display also tells you which function is currently activated. Change the shooting mode of the camera with the touch of the button; choose between high resolution and low resolution. Do you want to be in your own photographs? The Smart mini digital camera also has an auto-shoot mode.

Casio also has two mini digital cameras, the EXZ55 and the EXTRA-S100. While they are more expensive and slightly larger than the Smart mini digital camera, they do take higher-quality photographs. 5 Important MP3 Player Questions

November 14th, 2006

by CAROLINE MACKAY

MP3 or a digital audio player to those in the know. For those people that are just catching up to technology or are a step or two behind technology, it is a listening device. You can down load music and take it with you instead of taking your tape deck and box or cassettes, or taking along your CD player and carting the pouch with your collection of CDs in it. These little devices can be taken wherever you go, the gym, the park, or sitting on the bus. There are so many choices when it comes to choosing an MP3 player that it boggles the mind. You may just want a simple one without all the fancy gadgets because they will just confuse you. Or you may want every conceivable feature that is offered because you understand how to use them all and they make you feel so “in the know”.

Whatever your case may be there are some basic questions that you need to answer before you purchase an MP3 player.

1. What do you plan to do with your MP3 player? Is it for taking out or is it for aiding your current in house entertainment center? In other words do you want your storage to be on hard drive or flash-based? Hard drives tend to skip if you are moving unless there is a memory buffer. Flash based units are smaller and your pocket can hold them easily. They cannot carry as many songs as a hard drive can unless you buy a memory card.

2. How good is your eye sight? Those display screens are extremely small and you must if you want to seek what music is being played. The screen also help you go through the options of controlling the volume, shuffling songs and using the equalizer. Be sure to check it out under all conditions such as indoors and outdoors. Is there glare when you try to read the screen?

3. How are you going to download music to your MP3 Player? You need to be able to connect to your computer so that you can transfer or download files of music. This requires connecting your MP3 Player to your computer with a cable. Sometimes the cable is included in the packaging and sometimes you need to purchase it separately. You can use a USB or FireWire to transfer the music. USB is the slowest.

4. Does the software you need come with the player and can you understand it? Most players come with that software and some of it is easier to follow than others.

5. What type of music files does your player support? You need to copy computer from a CD or you can download it from a Web site. You can save it on a variety of files. You need to know what type of music files your player supports.

After you answer these five questions you can then select the style that will fit your life style and start enjoying ‘your’ music because you get to select it and you will love them all.
